Waterfield Private Equity Fund I subsidiary Waterfield Technologies (WTI) has acquired VoxGen, a UK-based leader in bot strategy and design, accelerating the growth of Waterfield’s conversational AI practices. VoxGen works with B2C organizations in the US, UK, and EU manages more than 1 million customer contacts per year.
The acquisition of VoxGen will expand Waterfield’s position as a global conversational AI technology and services partner for clients from mid-market to large enterprises looking to accelerate their CX transformation. Additionally, it better enables Waterfield’s fast-growing opportunities in retail, healthcare, government, and FinTech AI.
“The VoxGen story started over 20 years ago with a simple mission: to harness the power of AI to enable natural, automated conversations,” shared Kerry Robinson, CEO of VoxGen. “I’m delighted to be teaming up with Waterfield Tech so we can help many more companies deliver an amazing customer experience and maximize the ROI from their investments in conversational AI, whatever the platform.”
The acquisition will broaden Waterfield’s global network and enhance its suite of AI solutions.
“VoxGen strengthens our ability to deliver leading AI solutions globally. The combination of Kerry Robinson’s team with Waterfield Technologies all-star CEO, Steve Kezirian, and his team, will no doubt yield impressive results.” Richard R. Waterfield, Chairman & CEO of Waterfield Enterprises, commented.
Waterfield Enterprises has acquired over 70 businesses since Mr. Waterfield and his brother, J. Randall Waterfield, left Goldman Sachs to found the company in 1998.
