Waterfield Technologies' Acquisition of PDT Communications in 2018

Investment-banking professional Richard Waterfield is a board member for YPO’s Pacific region. The CEO and co-chairman of Waterfield Group, Richard Waterfield oversees the operations of Waterfield subsidiaries that include Waterfield Technologies, an enterprise-software and professional-services company. 

In October 2018, Waterfield Technologies announced it was acquiring PDT Communications, a premier provider of contact-center offerings that improve customer satisfaction and have netted a number of successes. The two companies are now well-positioned to deliver first-class customer-service solutions by leveraging their individual strengths to exceed market expectations.

PDT Communications’ management team has over 40 years of combined experience creating solutions for clientele such as Fortune 500 companies, the US Department of Defense, other government agencies, and small businesses. The firm’s purchase by Waterfield Technologies will unite their human and machine resources to offer clients more services, expand their footprint across industries, and enhance the development and delivery of innovative omnichannel products. Waterfield Technologies CEO John Marino expressed optimism that the merger would deepen the firm's proficiencies in contact-center matters, enabling it to tackle more complex applications.
