Richard Waterfield is the CEO of Waterfield Enterprises, a diversified global holding company operating in such industries as real estate, security, and energy. Among his recent business activities, Richard Waterfield relocated the company's headquarters to Roanoke, Indiana.
According to the press release, the holding company will take over a historical building complex that spans 24,000 square feet in central Roanoke. Roanoke has earned a reputation as a successfully revitalized small rural community. Founded in 1850, the town traces its revival to 2000 with the founding of the award-winning fine dining establishment, Joseph Decuis. The company announced plans to establish its offices on the top floor of the two-story building. It will also renovate the ground floor space to include additional amenities for retail tenants. It acquired the building complex from the Eshelmans, who own and operate Joseph Decuis. The Eshelmans had operated their sports insurance company, American Specialty Insurance, in the building until selling the business in 2005.
